the boys were in a wedding this past weekend in indiana. cole was the ring bearer and brent was the officiant. eli and i got to dress up and join the fun too :) one of our young life leaders from chicago got married and it was a beautiful wedding. we also got to see some old friends and introduce eli to some of our chicago family. cole is doing great even though no sight has returned to his right eye yet. he is opening it more and more everyday and is able to tolerate the light much better now which is great! he's been playing outside more and even went to the pool yesterday :) on sunday brent and i and the boys are heading to florida for vacation with my family. cole is looking forward to seeing the ocean for the first time and to riding the spiderman ride at universal studio's in orlando :) we will be going back to detroit on either june 22 or july 6...we are waiting on the final date but should have all of that finalized this week....we'll let you know!! thanks for loving us!
i know, i know what is cole doing in a tree without his glasses on...that's the first thing brent said when he saw this picture! i just love this picture though cause cole's outside, he's being a "regular kid" and he's happy....and that makes me smile from the inside out :)
